MANUFACTURING
Manufacturing a complete fixture under one roof allows LEGION to maintain exceptional quality assurance throughout the process. We process thousands of tons of steel and aluminum of all forms (sheets, coils, extrusions, etc.). Steel is sheared with computerized accuracy and then processed through our fully automated computerized sheet metal fabricating department. Our automated fabricators allow us to change styles and products quickly to meet customers’ needs. Coil steel is automatically fed into our battery of auto self fed punch presses.
Each fixture at LEGION Lighting is fully welded to insure perfect alignment and rigidity. (Fixtures that are snapped or riveted together are not sturdy, and tend to fall apart in shipping and installation.) Cutting and mitering our aluminum extrusions gives us total control over delivery and quality.

FINISHING
All steel component parts are completely protected against rust and discoloration after fabrication through an automated conveyorized multi-stage phosphate bonding process. Finished with an electrostatic baked white polyester thermosetting powder coating. This electronic computer controlled integrated system assures consistent 88%+ reflectance efficiency and maximum durability.
ASSEMBLY • WIRING • PACKING
Though we’re state-of-the-art in many ways, we still make our products with oldfashioned craftsmanship. Too many faults and defects slip through assembly lines, so at LEGION Lighting, an individual member of I.B.E.W. Local #3 wires each fixture.

Having dealt with shipping companies since the 40’s, we take extra care in packing. Whether an order calls for bulk packing, shrink-wrap palletizing, or individual packaging, LEGION makes sure your fixtures will travel securely. We maintain a large inventory to insure quick delivery.
